I have met many Kyras, many strong women who have it in them to break free from painful experiences and memories. These women have truly believed that they deserve to live a better and happier life and have worked towards that goal, rather than wallow in self pity. I am proud to have several of these women as my close friends. You know who you are. *BEAR HUGS* to all you beautiful, amazing women. Your strength, courage, determination and the choice you made have made ME a better person.
Happiness is a choice. Every single day, life gives us this choice. What have YOU chosen today?

After reading your post i have chosen happiness :)...
ReplyDeleteI've chosen to come here and talk to you about happiness. For me, happiness is a large spoonful of Ben & Jerry's. It's a warm kitty curled into my lap. It's the knowledge that someday, somehow, I will stage a fight between a zombie, a mummy, and a non-sparkly vampire in a fight to the undeath.

ReplyDelete@Nate: Hey! I luuuurrrve your crazy blog. It has the perfect amount of nonsense to cheer me up on a boring day. You did not tell me how you liked my entries to your contest. Rule #6 made me quite nervous. Please tell me I won something.
I sometimes am victim to not allowing myself to be happy, but I am really working toward achieving at least a moment of it every day. It really is a choice, and it's sad that some people don't choose it- because there are many who haven't had the chance in their lives to have more of it.
